Hey lovelies,
So this weeks blog post I thought I’d talk about how much you should roughly be spending on your wedding photographer.
Any ideas?
There are so many wedding photographers out there, how do you know which to choose? When it comes to wedding photography it’s one of the most important parts to plan/book. Yes everyone has a budget for a wedding but until you actually start looking into things to book and organise it then all adds up and you don’t realise how much it all costs – one thing you do know is you want your memories frozen in time so you can pass them down in generations to come and look back on them as and when you’d like and remember what an amazing day it was.
When looking at wedding photographers you need to look at their work, they need to be what you want – if your not booking because of their gorgeous images but because they’re cheap, well that’s not a good start.
I have now been a wedding photographer in Leicestershire for over four years, I have been in business longer than that though; there’s always been someone at each wedding I have photographed weather a guest or a family member that has said how their wedding photographer didn’t do anything like what I do – which is lovely to hear, but also sad to know that not everyone had a good wedding photographer.
Prices for wedding photographers does vary, it goes a lot on experience as well as how well trained the person is. If you spend £300 on your wedding photographer then you’re going to get £300 worth. Your not just paying for a photographer to take photos your paying for a service, their experience, the knowledge they have and training, the products they are offering and a great after service too. If you’re currently looking for a wedding photographer you shouldn’t be spending less than £800, an average to pay is around £1000 for a wedding photographer.
You can see some of my work below, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
See you next week 🙂
